Maggie is committed to helping our guests improve their health and vitality through nutrition. She leads how-to classes and demonstrations that show best practices for planning and cooking creative, delicious meals that enhance wellbeing and fuel healthy lifestyle goals.
With more than 15 years in the culinary field, Maggie has worked in nearly every setting — from high volume chain restaurants and bars to country clubs — to resorts, ranches, and even hospitals and senior-living homes. She also has vast therapeutic, nutritional experience assisting and counseling those with eating disorders. As a nutritionist, Maggie enjoys helping guests assess food and nutrition concerns, create meal plans, and craft lifestyle changes to reach unique wellness goals.
Her positive and encouraging manner keeps guests inspired to try new approaches and ingredients, and not to give up. Canyon Ranch guests benefit from her personalized approach to coaching as she creates tailored, holistic nutrition programs to optimize health. She specializes in cooking for allergies and modified diets, gut-friendly foods, and preparing and planning anti-inflammatory meals.
When not at the Ranch, Maggie can usually be found outside where she loves to kayak and garden. Her indoor favorite activities include cooking, of course, and also playing board games and cards. Her best advice? “Fuel your day, don’t fill it.”
