Karen brought her extensive experience as a licensed clinical social worker and mental health specialist to the Canyon Ranch Mind & Spirit team in 2004. She helps our guests focus on setting their health intentions; attaining greater peace of mind, sense of trust, and self-confidence; and improving their overall quality of life.
She uses a variety of creative and eclectic approaches to healing including: Ericksonian hypnotherapy; family of origin exploration; creative problem solving through life transitions; and techniques for cultivating self-care and self-compassion. “When you release old patterns that are inhibiting your peace of mind, greater joy and happiness become available to you," Karen asserts.
Committed to providing access to mental health services for all, Karen helped develop a treatment center for seniors in Tucson. In her free time, she enjoys being with her husband, daughter, friends, and dog, Rigby; attending the theater; and walking the 2-mile loop at Canyon Ranch.
