Ingredients
1 1/4 cups low-fat milk
1/2 cup pure pumpkin purée
1 Tbsp almond butter
3/4 scoop of vanilla protein powder
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp ground cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. A handful of ice can be added if desired.
Note: Choose a protein powder with no added sugar that provides about 20g of protein per scoop. Ultra-filtered milk can be used in place of traditional milk to increase the protein content of this smoothie. Non-dairy milk could also be used in place of cow’s milk, but it could lower the protein content of this smoothie.
