Bohemian Chicken Soup

2 cups chicken stock

1 1/2 cups vegetable stock

2 pieces of chicken breast

Pinch of red chili flakes (optional)

1/2 tsp garlic, minced

1/2 tsp salt

Pinch of black pepper

1 small carrot, chopped

1/2 cup cauliflower florets

1/2 cup broccoli florets

1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced

1/2 cup celery, diced

3 oz farfalline pasta, cooked

1 Tbsp parsley, chopped

1 Tbsp scallions, chopped

1 Tbsp chives, chopped

Tip: Substitute your favorite pasta in place of farfalline.


  1. In a large saucepan, bring chicken and vegetable stock to a boil. Dice chicken breast and add to stock. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until chicken is cooked, about 10 minutes.
  2. Add pepper flakes, garlic, salt, and pepper. Continue to cook for 5 minutes. Add vegetables and simmer until tender, about 15 to 20 minutes.
  3. When ready to serve, stir in your cooked pasta, parsley, scallions, and chives.
