Blue Cheese Dressing

Ingredients

8 oz blue cheese

1 cup buttermilk

5.5 oz mayonnaise

10 oz sour cream

3.5 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 Tbsp dry mustard

1 Tbsp garlic granules

1 Tbsp onion powder

1/4 cup white distilled vinegar

1/2 tsp black pepper

2.5 Tbsp white wine

3/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Measure out all ingredients.
  2. For a more rustic textured dressing, hand chop the bleu cheese and mix together by hand.
  3. For a smoother dressing, add all ingredients into a blender and puree until smooth.

Note: Garlic granules are a courser version of garlic powder. Either will work fine in this recipe. The white wine in the recipe adds a fruity brightness that helps balance the bleu cheese. If you don’t want to add the wine, replace it with more vinegar.
