One of the peninsula’s best-kept secrets, the Djerassi Resident Artists Program brings some of the most interesting minds to its 583-acre estate. For over four decades, the program has provided month-long residencies to hundreds of writers, visual artists, photographers, filmmakers, composers, choreographers, and scientists from 54 countries. During this private tour, you'll meet with an artist-in-residence, a program Trustee, or Djerassi's Executive Director.
Saturday, March 30
8:30 am Private Hike at Djerassi A level 2 hike traversing around two miles with a 610-foot vertical rise over the course of 3 hours or so.
6 pm Chef's Dinner with Chef George Meza Following the exclusive tour of the Djerassi Program trails, please your palette with a delicious tasting menu from Chef George Meza of Canyon Ranch Woodside and dine alongside Djerassi's Executive Director. Discuss and learn more about the artist experience, Djerassi's legendary facilitation of art and science residencies, and the commitment to land stewardship under the organization's dual mission of promoting creativity and environmental conservation in Northern California.
