INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup cottage cheese
1/2 cup frozen peaches
1/4 cup frozen strawberries
1/4 cup plain, unsweetened almond milk
1-1/2 teaspoons rolled oats
1/2 teaspoon ground flaxseed
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon honey
DIRECTIONS
Add all ingredients to a blender.

Adjust consistency with additional almond milk if desired.

NOTES
Why Frozen Fruit? Frozen fruit creates a naturally thick, creamy smoothie without the need for ice, resulting in a richer texture and more concentrated flavor. Because fruit is typically frozen at peak ripeness, it also retains much of its nutritional value.
If Using Fresh Fruit: For a similarly chilled, creamy consistency, add 1/2–1 cup of ice, or freeze your fresh fruit for a few hours before blending. You may also need to reduce the amount of liquid slightly to maintain the desired thickness.
