Time: 3 Hours 10 Minutes ・ Difficulty: Medium ・ Serves: 4 People
Bright citrus juices meet fresh ginger in this refreshing granita, creating a light, icy dessert with layers of sweet, tart, and gently spicy flavor. Orange, grapefruit, and lemon make this a naturally vitamin C-rich finish to any meal. INGREDIENTS 2 cups orange juice 1/2 cup grapefruit juice 1/4 cup lemon juice 2 tablespoons maple syrup 1 tablespoon minced ginger 1 teaspoon minced orange zest 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 pinch salt fresh mint for garnish INSTRUCTIONS
Combine orange juice, grapefruit juice, lemon juice, maple syrup, ginger, orange zest, vanilla, and salt in a bowl. Whisk until well combined.
Pour into a shallow, freezer-safe baking dish.
Freeze uncovered for 45 minutes.
Using a fork, scrape and stir the ice crystals, breaking up any frozen sections.
Return to the freezer and repeat every 30–45 minutes for approximately 2.5–3 hours, until the mixture is completely frozen and has a fine, fluffy texture.
Scrape the entire surface with a fork before serving.
