Shannon is a Registered Dietitian with a deep passion for helping others thrive through nutrition. With nearly five years of experience in the field, Shannon specializes in guiding individuals to prevent and manage chronic disease, optimize gut health, build muscle for healthy aging, and fuel their bodies for both daily life and physical performance. Her goal: to empower every guest to feel their happiest, healthiest, and most energized version of themselves. 

Shannon began her career in sports nutrition, working with the basketball and football teams at Mississippi State University before focusing solely on basketball at the University of Pittsburgh. These foundational roles shaped her skill in performance-based nutrition and provided invaluable insights into fueling elite athletes. 

Driven by a long-held dream to work in a holistic wellness setting, Shannon found her perfect fit at Canyon Ranch, where she collaborates with a team of experts in acupuncture, mental health, and performance science. She finds the greatest joy in witnessing guests’ "ah-ha" moments — when they realize just how powerful food can be in transforming their health. 

Outside of work, Shannon enjoys life with her husband, exploring new recipes and restaurants, and attending live music and sporting events with friends and family. Her best-kept wellness tip? Don’t skip meals — especially during the day. Strategically fueling your most active hours can make a world of difference. 

Shannon provides one-on-one consultations that help resort guests achieve their goals while considering all aspects that make them unique, from their bodies to their lifestyles to their daily schedules.
