Fresh Herb Cheese Dip

This creamy dip combines whipped cottage cheese and Greek yogurt with herbs, garlic, and shallots for a light, protein-rich appetizer. Paired with homemade sesame bagel chips, it makes for an easy snack or party dish with plenty of fresh flavor and crunch.
INGREDIENTS
1/2 each (~2 ounces) sesame bagel
3-1/2 ounces Greek yogurt, non-fat
12 ounces cottage cheese, low-fat
1/2 ounces garlic, minced
2 ounces shallots, minced
1-1/2 ounces scallions, sliced
1-1/2 ounces parsley, chopped
2-1/2 ounces tarragon, chopped
1 teaspoon black pepper
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Thinly slice the bagels and place onto a sheet pan in a single layer. Bake in the oven until crispy (10–15 minutes).
Place the yogurt and cottage cheese in a food processor and run for 30 seconds. Transfer to a bowl and add all remaining ingredients (garlic, shallots, scallions, parsley, tarragon, and black pepper). Mix by hand until incorporated.
Split the cheese dip into 5 servings. Serve with bagel chips.
