Jason Martin

Outdoor Sports Manager

An avid backpacker and outdoorsman since childhood, Jason worked with Canyon Ranch as a hiking guide in the late 1990s while also leading Jeep tours throughout Southern Arizona. He went on to spend 23 years opening Trader Joe’s stores across the western United States, followed by nonprofit work supporting National Parks in New Mexico. Eventually, the trails called him back to Tucson and Canyon Ranch. Today, he draws on a lifelong love of the outdoors to create memorable ways for guests to experience the expertise of the Outdoor Sports team — and moments in nature they can savor for years to come.
