PhD, MA, MDiv, Director of Spiritual Wellness
Stephanie is dedicated to helping guests transform themselves and their lives through spiritual practice and conscious spiritual development.
Stephanie has over 25 years of professional teaching, spiritual guidance, and leadership experience. She specializes in healing loss, grief, and trauma through spiritual growth; soulful navigation of life changes and transitions; cultivating deeper meaning and purpose in life; mindfulness and contemplation; nature-based spirituality; dream work; and the scientific study of spirituality.
As founder of Girls on the Run of Northern Arizona, Stephanie has helped inspire girls and women to be joyful, healthy, and confident through holistic wellness education and running. She also has an extensive public speaking history including conference and community presentations on topics ranging from intimate violence and sexual identity to post-traumatic growth, self-care for the bereaved, and dying as an invitation to growth.
“I’m inspired by the deep longing of our guests to become healthier and, ultimately, more whole. The magnificent natural beauty and peace of our properties. The rich expertise and compassion of our staff,” Stephanie says. “The synergy of these things makes real, and often unexpected, transformation happen.”
Stephanie embraces nature as a powerful teacher and cherishes regular time spent trail running, hiking, camping, and backpacking in wild and beautiful places. Her wellness words to live by? “Play outside and eat a little fair trade dark chocolate every day!”
