Jason Moore is the winemaker and founding partner behind Modus Operandi Cellars in Napa Valley, CA. Growing up in Dallas, becoming a winemaker wasn’t the most obvious path for Jason. But at 24, after working in some of the city’s finest restaurants and falling in love with all things wine, he and his soon-to-be wife sold everything they owned and moved to California. There, Jason embarked on a journey of self-education, learning from winemaking mentors and honing his craft in the garage of a generous vineyard owner in Napa. In 2004, at the age of 26, Jason officially launched Modus Operandi Cellars with 200 cases of Napa Cabernet, and he has never looked back.
