Join us for an exhilarating exploration of the portion of the famed Appalachian Trail that snakes through the Berkshires. Stretching from Georgia to Maine, the trail is the longest hiking-only footpath in the world and a must-do for any outdoorsman.

Over the course of four days, our expert guides will lead daily hikes of six to 10 miles through this renowned natural area of Massachusetts. 8am - 2:30pm Hike: Level 5 - Undermountain to Lion's Head
Join your guides on a section of the Appalachian Trail in Connecticut. Experience a steady ascent in the first two miles, then enjoy the rolls of the ridgeline to spectacular views.

• Lunch included. 7 miles. Vertical Rise 1,500ft.

Friday, September 27

8am - 2pm Hike: Level 4 - Tyringham to Greenwater Pond
Experience a remote, moderate ramble through the Tyringham woodlands. Meander past high marshlands and thickets and around Goose pond. Then climb up and over the ridge, descending to Greenwater pond.

• Lunch included. 6.8 miles. Vertical Rise 890ft.

8am - 2pm Hike: Level 5 - Tyringham to Benedict Pond

• Rolling varied terrain with many brooks and beaver ponds. Enjoy a view of the county’s most impressive beaver dam. End your hike at Beartown State Forest along the shore of picturesque Benedict Pond. * Lunch included. 1,100' vertical rise.
• Total duration: 6 hr.

8am – 3:30pm Hike: Level 5 - Reynold's Rock over Mount Greylock
Rolling terrain up to Saddle Ball Mountain followed by steep miles up Massachusetts’ highest peak.
