This unmonitored, overnight sleep screening test, done in the comfort of your room, uses a one-time use, FDA-approved portable sleep device to determine periods of apnea and wake or sleep states. The device utilizes Peripheral Arterial Tone, a physiological signal that mirrors changes in the autonomic nervous system caused by respiratory disturbances during sleep. A physician will review the results of your sleep screening test with you and make recommendations for treatment.
