Before finding his way to Canyon Ranch, Carlos worked at the US Soccer Federation as the women’s national team physical therapist. Prior to this, he was a High-Performance Health Care Services Provider in the Sports Medicine Clinic for the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC) in Colorado Springs, Colorado. And before working for the USOPC, Carlos spent many years in South Florida developing a strong soccer background through his work with both academy and professional-level soccer teams, including the Fort Lauderdale Strikers FC. Additionally, Carlos worked internationally with soccer teams including the Venezuela men’s U-20 and senior national teams, as well as the Legia Warsaw FC in Poland.

Rest assured, you don’t have to be a soccer player to benefit from Carlos’ extensive knowledge and experience in physical therapy and sports medicine. Canyon Ranch guests benefit from his personalized approach as he creates tailored programs to improve their unique musculoskeletal needs — improving both their quality of life and athletic performance. His positive and encouraging manner keep guests inspired to take deep breaths, not give up, and keep moving forward.

When not at the Ranch, Carlos enjoys spending his free time playing tennis, soccer, and going for long hikes with his dog, Coco.
