Jordan Metzl, MD, will explore the benefits of exercise, how it can be used as effective medicine for the treatment and prevention of disease, and how you can maximize your daily dose. Dr. Metzl will be signing copies of his bestselling book, The Exercise Cure, following his talk.

Common Sports Injuries & the Easy Home Remedies to Fix Them | January 13, 3pm
Jordan Metzl, MD shares secrets to recognizing and fixing the most common sports injuries. Learn how to keep your body moving, fit and injury free for life. This talk will be based on his newest book, Dr Jordan Metzl’s Workout Prescription, which will be available for signing.

The Ironstrength Workout | January 13, 12pm
As featured on NBC’s Today show, in the New York Times and in Runner’s World, this class provides functional strength training for injury prevention and performance enhancement for athletes of any age. Join Dr. Metzl for a unique workout that will teach you the keys of functional movement and preventive strengthening. This class will consist of body weight fitness techniques and is suitable for all fitness levels.
