However, this privacy policy applies only to the information we collect from you when you when you sign up for our fitness classes.

Personal information we may collect about you: When you sign up for our fitness classes we collect:

• Your name
• Your cabin number

How we use the personal data we collect about you: We use this data to manage the size of our fitness classes to ensure a positive experience for our clients.

Legal basis to use your data: We process data about your only when we have a legal basis to do so. Our legal bases for processing the data you share with us for consultation services includes:

• The processing is necessary for us to meet our obligations to you or fulfill your request for a service or product;
• The processing is necessary for purposes that are in Canyon Ranch at Sea’s legitimate interests, in order, for example, to protect our business, improve our services, or carry out internal accounting and billing processes;
• The processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation that applies to Canyon Ranch at Sea; or

What happens if you don’t provide requested data: All clients participating in our fitness classes are required to provide this information to allow us to manage class attendance and size. We are not able to offer you class participation if you do not provide this data.

How we retain and protect your data: Canyon Ranch at Sea understands the importance of keeping your data safe and implements controls designed to reasonably safeguard it in a manner appropriate to the way in which it is maintained. Your data is discarded after the cruise ends.

Transfers to third countries: We do not transfer your fitness class sign-up data to third countries.

Your rights: You have certain rights regarding the personal information that we maintain about you, and in certain circumstances you will be able to exercise those rights. These rights are as follows:

• You may request a copy of the personal information that we maintain about you.
• If your information is incorrect, you may request that we correct, amend, or delete information that is inaccurate.
• You may request that we erase or restrict the processing of your personal information.
• You may object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances when we process your data for the purposes of our legitimate interests.

Subject to applicable law, we will comply with your request as soon as practicable, and in any event, within not more than 1 month after receiving a valid request. If your request is particularly complicated, we may have to extend this period to 2 months. Any request to exercise these rights will be assessed in accordance with applicable law and there may be circumstances where we are not legally required to comply with your request. For example, we
may reject requests that we determine would compromise our fraud prevention efforts or risk the privacy of others. Canyon Ranch at Sea and CR Spa + Fitness at Sea LLC (“Canyon Ranch at Sea”) are committed to safeguarding your personal information. We have adopted and implemented this privacy policy as part of our commitment to protecting your personal information across all of our data collection platforms. However, this privacy policy applies only to the information we collect from you when you request Canyon Ranch at Sea services via a Lifestyle Consultation form.

Personal information we may collect about you:

  • Name
  • Age
  • Nationality
  • Medications you take
  • Allergies
  • Current or recent medical conditions
  • Sleep habits
  • Alcohol consumption
  • Physical activity level
  • Exercise habits

How we use personal data we collect about you: We use this personal data to help our professionals to provide you with the services that are right for you and to make appropriate recommendations that address your needs.

In general, if you do not provide this data, we cannot provide our services. However, you provide your age and nationality at your discretion.

As a general practice we keep your data for approximately 3 years to address any concerns or complaints brought to our attention, to fulfill our legal obligations and to protect our corporate interests. After three years we dispose of the data in a secure fashion appropriate to the format of the records.

Transfers to third countries: In cases where we must transfer data to counsel in case of a litigation, the data is sent via encrypted email.

However, this Privacy Policy applies only to the information we collect from you when you call Canyon Ranch at Sea by telephone to book on-ship services.

Personal information we may collect about you: We collect personal data that will help us provide you with Canyon Ranch at Sea services. We may collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Whether you are over the age of 18
  • The type of service you request

How we use personal information we collect about you: We use the personal information we collect about you to book reservations for services; to confirm your booking by email; to plan for necessary staff; to determine what staff is most appropriate to provide you with a particular service, based on your needs; and for accounting, billing purposes and other internal business management and improvement purposes.

We also share your name and the type of service requested with the cruise line on which you are traveling and obtaining Canyon Ranch at Sea services. What happens if you don’t provide requested data: The data we collect by phone is necessary for us to provide you with the Canyon Ranch at Sea service you have requested. If you feel you cannot share your name, we are not able to book or provide your service. However, you may provide your email address and telephone number at your discretion.
