Ingredients 

2 lg yellow or red onions, thinly sliced
2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
¼ tsp sea salt
Pinch freshly ground black pepper

Instructions 
  1. In a large sauté pan, cook onions in olive oil over medium heat for 5 minutes. When onions begin to brown, reduce heat to low and cook 5 more minutes or until sugars are released. Season with salt and pepper.
