Ingredients
¾ cup sliced peaches
¼ cup chopped yellow onions
1½ Tbsp minced red peppers
½ Tbsp chopped garlic
1 Tbsp minced ginger root
1 Tbsp minced crystallized ginger
⅛ tsp red chili flakes
3 Tbsp cider vinegar
⅓ cup water
⅓ tsp sea salt
⅛ tsp black peppercorns
⅓ tsp cane sugar
Leave peel on peaches for a more intense peach flavor. Frozen or canned peaches can be substituted if fresh are not available but will yield less peach flavor.
Instructions
- In a small saucepan on medium heat, combine all ingredients and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
- Remove from heat, cool slightly and puree.
