Nutrition Information (per serving)
2 tsp unsalted butter
2 tsp minced garlic
1 Tbsp minced onion
1 Tbsp white wine
½ cup whole milk
1½ tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 Tbsp water
¼ tsp sea salt
Pinch freshly ground black pepper
½ tsp fresh lemon juice
2 Tbsp crumbled bleu cheese
1 Tbsp half and half
- In a medium saucepan, sauté garlic and onion in butter over medium heat until lightly browned.
- Add wine and cook until wine is almost evaporated. Add milk and bring to a simmer. Add cornstarch slurry and cook 1 minute or until mixture has thickened slightly. Remove from heat. Add salt, pepper, lemon juice and bleu cheese. Stir until cheese melts. Stir in half and half.
