Maple Walnut Cheesecake

Ingredients 

2 cups low-fat cream cheese
1 cup brown sugar
3 lg egg whites
2 lg eggs
1 Tbsp pure vanilla extract
¼ cup maple syrup
1 cup crushed graham crackers
¼ cup chopped, toasted walnuts

Instructions 
  1. Preheat oven to 325F.
  2. In a large bowl, using a hand held electric mixer, blend together cream cheese and sugar until creamy. Scrape sides of bowl and add egg whites, eggs, vanilla and maple syrup.
  3. Spread graham cracker crumbs in bottom of a 9-inch pie pan. Moisten with 3 tablespoons water and press graham crackers firmly into pie shell to form a crust. Pour cream cheese mixture into crust. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until set. Remove from oven. Sprinkle walnuts on top of cheesecake. Cool slightly and chill in refrigerator. Cut into 16 slices.
