Ingredients
½ lb fresh fruit
1 Tbsp cane sugar
¼ tsp pure vanilla extract or fresh lemon juice
Any fruit can be used that is 15 calories or less per ounce. Examples of these are: Strawberries,apricots, blueberries, oranges, peaches, pineapple, plums, raspberries, and blackberries.
Instructions
- Place fruit in a blender container. Puree until smooth. Strain through a medium sieve. You may save the remaining fruit pieces for other fruit or dessert recipes or discard.
- Add sugar and vanilla or lemon juice to fruit juice and mix well. Sugar will dissolve within 5 minutes.
