¾ cup bittersweet chocolate chips
¼ cup unsalted butter
¼ cup nonfat sour cream
¾ cup brown sugar
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 lg eggs
¼ cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup whole-wheat flour
1 Tbsp cocoa powder
¼ tsp aluminum-free baking powder
¼ tsp sea salt
- Preheat oven to 325F. Lightly coat 8-inch by 8-inch pan with canola oil spray and set aside.
- Melt chocolate chips, butter and sour cream in a medium saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar and vanilla. Stir in eggs one at a time. Stir in remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until knife comes out clean when inserted in middle.
- Remove from oven and cool completely. Cut into 16 servings. Remove brownies from pan with a flexible spatula.
