Ingredients
1 cup low-fat milk
2 Tbsp cornstarch
¼ cup cane sugar
2 Tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 lg eggs
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine milk, cornstarch, sugar, cocoa powder and vanilla. Cook over medium heat until it comes to a boil and thickens. Remove from heat.
- Beat eggs in a medium bowl. Combine ¼ cup hot milk mixture with eggs and mix well. Add back to milk mixture in saucepan and mix well. Bring to a simmer and cook 1 minute. Pour mixture into a medium bowl and let cool.
