Banana Bread French Toast

Ingredients 

½ cup skim milk
1 whole egg
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp pure vanilla extract
8 slices Banana Bread
½ cup pure maple syrup

Instructions 
  1. In a shallow pan combine milk, egg, cinnamon and vanilla.
  2. Heat a large sauté pan over medium heat and lightly coat with canola oil. Dip both sides of bread into egg mixture and transfer to hot pan. Repeat for remaining slices. Cook until golden brown on both sides.
  3. Serve 2 pieces with 2 tablespoons maple syrup.
