Sarah received her Master’s Degree in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola College of Maryland. She holds a Master’s in Art History from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Religious studies from New York University. She is a member of the American Counseling Association, the American College Counseling Association and the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, and has spoken at national conferences, colleges, community organizations and local faith communities.
Her professional interests include childhood trauma recovery, life transitions, relationships, spiritual coaching, the use of the labyrinth in walking meditation, stress management and the integration of spirituality in personal well-being, with a special focus on mindfulness and healing. As a professional counselor at Stevenson University, Maryland, she chaired a committee to create a campus meditation center, and was instrumental in developing programs addressing sexual violence and substance abuse.
Sarah has explored all aspects of spirituality, and enjoys horseback riding, hiking, yoga, swimming, travel and natural cooking.
