Four-Night Package
Sometimes stress motivates and challenges, but all too often it overwhelms and depletes. You can proactively develop “stress hardiness” by creating your own stress-management plan. In these sessions, you will gain insight into the foods, exercise, practices and thought patterns that can be effective in reducing stress. In this way, you’ll come to understand and gain mastery over your response to stress. 

Note: Unless specified, consultations, services and phone follow-ups are 50 minutes

Like many things in medicine, lab testing is evolving quickly. Canyon Ranch physicians have expertise in sophisticated, cutting-edge blood tests that can provide an indepth understanding of how your body is functioning well before the disease process begins.

Some examples:
Tests that reveal your genetic profile and its impact on your health; tests that evaluate your ability to metabolize toxins in the environment; tests that tell us about your tendency toward inflammation; and tests that reveal your adrenal and hormonal function.

Your Canyon Ranch physician will determine which tests are appropriate for you.

Specialized fitness services take your training beyond weight machines. Our highly qualified and experienced staff of certified fitness instructors bring you a varied array of formats to reach the goals you are seeking. From athletic skill training to weight training, our fitness team has the knowledge to safely and effectively assist you in reaching your fitness goals. Work with any of our trainers to refine a particular skill or develop a program to take your wellness in a new direction or to the next level.

Specialized Personal Training

Whether you’re looking to improve your skills or to overcome the intimidation of the movement studio, private lessons in any of the activities on the group class schedule are available with our highly skilled staff. Our fitness instructors are specialists in their formats and are ready to help you reach your goals in the activities that most interest you. We can also customize an aerobic, weight training or flexibility program that helps you meet your fitness goal.

Fitness Programs

Achieve your active lifestyle goals in personalized sessions with Canyon Ranch fitness professionals.

Wellness Key Package

This two-part service is ideal for those who would like initial guidance regarding program design and use of the Wellness Key System, but who want the independence of monitoring their own workouts and tracking progress.
 
Part I – You work with an exercise physiologist who assesses your aerobic capacity and strength, and designs a personalized exercise program to help you achieve your goals. Your program and data are stored in your Wellness Key for convenient use.
 
Part II – A fitness instructor demonstrates use of the Wellness Key and exercise equipment and gets you started on your program. You’re good to go!
 
$285 for two 50 minute sessions

Specialized Needs Training

If you have a condition that limits you, this session with an exercise physiologist can help you safely become more active. Common concerns include diabetes, recovery from stroke, arthritis, circulation problems, neuromuscular disease, recovery from surgery, joint replacement, and balance and agility issues. Other possible topics include exercise for women at various stages of life and exercise for travel. Please dress for exercise.

Note: These services are for people with no major risk factors for vascular, metabolic or pulmonary disease. If you are currently experiencing these or have a family history of coronary heart disease or are over the age of 45 (men) or 50 (women), you may be directed to an exercise physiologist or physician for advanced assessment before participating in this service.

Rx For Exercise

Whether you’re looking to begin a regular exercise program or you’re already active and want to increase fitness, strength or endurance, our experts can help. An exercise physiologist designs a take-home program based on your goals, interests, time, physical limitations and facilities available. We’ll help you add fun and variety to your fitness regimen.
 
$165 for 50 minutes

Exercise For Weight Loss & Body Definition

Fat reduction and muscle definition are achievable goals. Meet with an exercise physiologist to design a multidimensional exercise program that will optimize your exercise time, maximize your metabolism, promote weight loss, keep excess fat off permanently, increase lean body mass and enhance muscle definition.
 
$165 for 50 minutes

Exercise For Bone Health

If you want to prevent osteopenia (the beginning stages of osteoporosis) or if you have bone loss already, appropriate exercise can help. An exercise physiologist recommends safe, effective exercises based on the results of a bone mineral density assessment (see DEXA Body Composition) or on your risk factors. You’ll receive a personal exercise prescription including bone-healthy cardiovascular exercise, resistance training, and balance and agility work. Recommended for people over 40, this service is also appropriate if you have osteopenia or osteoporosis, a history of smoking, lactose intolerance or low lean body mass.

Advanced Training

This is the perfect service if you are training for a competition or event. Get custom advice from an exercise physiologist who will assess your training program, take you through appropriate exercises and give you precise, written instructions to take with you. Please dress for exercise.
