Canyon Ranch Now Ten-Time Winner Of Conde Nast Traveler Magazine's Top Spa Award

Tucson, AZ - (March 24, 2005) - For the tenth time, Canyon Ranch, the celebrated Life Enhancement Company™ based in Tucson, has been recognized for excellence by the sophisticated readers of Condé Nast Traveler magazine.

Canyon Ranch's destination resort in Lenox, Massachusetts was voted Best Destination Spa in North America and the Caribbean in Condé Nast Traveler's 2005 Readers' Choice Awards Poll, while Canyon Ranch Tucson placed third. The complete Reader's Choice survey will appear in the April issue of Condé Nast Traveler.

Canyon Ranch now has the distinction of winning the prestigious award ten times - in 1990, 1991, 1992, 1994, 1995, 1997, 1998, 2002, 2003, and now in 2005. Additionally, in 1997, Canyon Ranch founders Mel and Enid Zuckerman were inducted into the inaugural Condé Nast Traveler Magazine Hall of Fame for their role in "revolutionizing the American spa."

Canyon Ranch is celebrating its 25th anniversary in operation this year. Opening in Tucson in 1979 with just one paying guest, Canyon Ranch has grown to gain international recognition and the name has become a healthy living icon. In addition to dominating the Condé Nast Traveler awards for the tenth time, Canyon Ranch has established a pattern of excellence by consistently claiming top honors in every established spa, vacation, hospitality and travel award.

Mel and Enid Zuckerman founded the original Canyon Ranch Health Resort in Tucson, Arizona in 1979. Canyon Ranch opened in Lenox, Massachusetts in 1989. The first Canyon Ranch SpaClub opened at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1999. In 2002, Canyon Ranch opened a SpaClub facility at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Kissimmee, Florida. In January 2004, Canyon Ranch debuted its third Canyon Ranch SpaClub onboard the Queen Mary 2 luxury ocean liner. Canyon Ranch Living, the company's first healthy living residential community, is scheduled to open in Miami Beach, Florida in 2006.
