Canyon Ranch Health Resort Named World's Best Spa For Service By The Readers Of Travel + Leisure Magazine

TUCSON, AZ - May 17, 2002 - Canyon Ranch, the celebrated health resort in northeast Tucson, has once again been recognized for excellence by the readers of Travel + Leisure magazine. Canyon Ranch was named the World's Best Spa for Service in the magazine's sixth annual World's Best Awards poll. The World's Best Service Awards will appear in the prestigious magazine's June issue, on newsstands June 4.

"The Best Spa for Service award is a reflection of the superb job done by Canyon Ranch's more than 900 dedicated staff members, all of whom have contributed greatly to our continued success," said Karen Ramirez, Managing Director of Canyon Ranch.

This is the third time that Canyon Ranch has been recognized for excellence by Travel + Leisure in the past year and a half. In August 2001, Canyon Ranch was named 2001 World's Best Spa by the readers and in November 2001, Canyon Ranch was named World's Best Spa for Food by the readers.
