Sneak Preview:
Canyon Ranch SpaClub at the Homestead – Opening Spring 2013

This spring you’ll be able to enjoy a touch of Canyon Ranch at a family-friendly resort nestled in the mountains of Virginia. At Canyon Ranch SpaClub® at The Homestead, our spa and fitness offerings are beautifully matched with the extensive pleasures of a celebrated historic resort.

Set in spectacular Hot Springs, Virginia, The Homestead was founded in 1766 as a secluded refuge for city dwellers seeking rest and rejuvenation. With an abundance of mineral springs in the area, generations of guests have come to The Homestead to “take the waters” and enjoy their healing properties. From Thomas Jefferson to golf legend Sam Snead, politicians and movie stars, generations of guests have been thrilled by the beauty of the Alleghenies and year-round outdoor activities at this 3,000-acre property.

The active environment and healing waters are a perfect complement to Canyon Ranch SpaClub. Natural hot springs will be used in our signature Aquavana® thermal suites – an exclusive collection of experiential tubs and cabins. The ultra-serene Jefferson Springs spa garden is an adults-only outdoor haven featuring indigenous hot springs, therapeutic geothermal mineral bath, river reflexology bed, Finnish sauna, spring-fed whirlpool and private poolside cabanas.

Our stunning 60,000-square-foot SpaClub will offer state-of-the-art fitness and spa facilities. Here you’ll have the chance to consult with a nutrition or exercise expert, take your favorite fitness classes, enjoy our collection of geothermal pools and, of course, relax and rejuvenate with an incredible array of massages, facials and body treatments. You’ll even be able to dine on nutritious cuisine at the Canyon Ranch Café.

“Canyon Ranch SpaClub at The Homestead is a lovely addition to the Ranch family,” says Angie Day, Canyon Ranch Corporate Spa Director. “The location is perfect for healthy pursuits, and the hot springs give us access to another dimension of healing and relaxation. We can offer our great spa and fitness services plus some special things just for families. We love that.”

You’ll find plenty of ways to stay active and fit at The Homestead, which boasts two outstanding golf courses: the Cascades, annually ranked as one of the top courses in the United States, and the Old Course, where you can tee off on the country’s oldest continuously used first tee. Or, enjoy other pursuits such as archery, falconry, skiing, horseback riding, miniature golf, a family water feature with lazy river and water slides, top-rated shooting range and much more. And you’ll have Canyon Ranch SpaClub to balance your experience with pure relaxation, healing energy and renewal. It’s a great match for an unforgettable vacation!

I'm so thrilled you will be within driving distance of my home....I live in Va. Beach and my husband and I have driven to the Homestead twice . I'm so excited to enjoy the addition of Canyon Ranch to such a beautiful part of the country. Having said that, the Tuscon experience is such a special experience for me....

So excited! We have always loved Canyon Ranch whether it was a quick half day in Vegas for myself, a a multigenerational, long weekend in Lenox with my daughter and mother-in-law, or a week in Tucson with my husband. Thanks for coming to my home state!
